Sophomore outside hitter Robert Petri averaged 4.22 kills and 3.70 digs while hitting .395 (97-29-172) in a 3-3 week for Polytechnic University last week. Petri, who was named to the Bard College All-Tournament Team, recorded three double-doubles (kills-digs) in six matches. In a five-game win over Purchase in the Bard Tournament, Petri recorded 24 kills, 27 digs and three aces. He also had 17 kills, 17 digs and five blocks in another five-game victory over Purchase earlier in the week.
