Bard College received a strong contribution from freshman outside hitter Max Howard. In four matches, Howard recorded averages of 2.00 kills, 1.00 digs and 0.25 blocks per game while hitting .232. He recorded seven kills each against Purchase, Ramapo and Mount Saint Vincent. In the Raptors’ 3-0 victory over Mount Saint Vincent, Howard hit .429 with seven kills and just one error in 14 attempts.
