Mount Saint Mary College senior Matt Peters earned Skyline Conference Men’s Swimmer of the Year honors after winning two individual events and placing second in another at the 2008 Skyline Conference Championship. Peters was victorious in the 200-yard freestyle (1:55.95) and the 200-yard backstroke (2:08.87) and also finished second in the 50-yard freestyle (23.70), just .22 behind the first-place finisher (23.22).
