College of Mount Saint Vincent freshman outside hitter David Guerrero opened his collegiate career with a bang against Polytechnic last Monday. In the first-ever Skyline Conference men’s volleyball match, Guerrero posted 19 kills and hit an impressive .630 in the Dolphins’ season-opener. He also recorded seven service aces, a dig and a block in the 3-0 win. Guerrero followed that up with a seven-kill performance at Hunter and added three service aces and five digs. For the week he averaged 4.33 kills per game and 1.67 service aces per contest.
