Farmingdale State opened the second half of its season with three victories behind the strong play of junior forward Erastus Shannon. Shannon, who averaged 10.8 points in the first nine games, averaged 23.3 points and 8.7 rebounds while shooting 71.1 percent (27-for-38) in the last three games. He recorded a double-double (13-11) in a win over Bard and was the team’s leading scorer against Polytechnic (24) and Maritime (33).
