Sophomore goalkeeper Kimberly Sontag came up big for Farmingdale State College in the Skyline Conference Women’s Soccer Championship. Sontag did not allow a goal in two tournament games, helping the Rams to their first Skyline Conference title and NCAA Tournament bid. In the semifinal game against Purchase, Sontag stopped the final two shots in a penalty kick shootout as the Rams advanced with a 3-2 edge in penalty kicks. She also recorded a shutout against second-seeded Bard College in the championship game.
