Senior goalkeeper Brandon DeNoyer stopped 14 shots and did not allow a goal in two games in leading SUNY College at Old Westbury to the Skyline Conference Men’s Soccer Championship. DeNoyer, who took over in goal at midseason after starter Brian Hicks went down with an injury, was a key player for the Panthers down the stretch. In the 5-0 win over Maritime in the semifinals, he stopped eight shots. In the championship match, DeNoyer made six saves, holding St. Joseph’s scoreless for the first time in 11 games against Skyline competition.
