Briseyda Acevedo Award Player of the Week Week Of 10/11/2004 Sport Women's Tennis School Mount Saint Mary Year Position Hometown High School Mount Saint Mary senior Briseyda Acevedo improved to 8-1 in both singles and doubles play by going 3-0 at second singles and 3-0 at first doubles last week. Acevedo did not drop a set in helping the Blue Knights improve to 7-2 on the season. She earned a 6-1, 6-3 victory against her opponent from Bard, a 6-0, 6-0 win over Keystone and a 7-6 (7-2), 6-2 win against Marywood. Along with teammate Gina Trapini, Acevedo also lost just two games in three doubles matches.
