Freshman center fielder Justin Cardenas ended his rookie season on a high note for Mount Saint Mary College last week. In seven games for the Blue Knights, Cardenas batted .464 (13-for-28) with three doubles, a triple, 13 runs scored and nine runs batted in. Cardenas, who hit safely in six of the seven games, also stole two bases. He recorded a pair of four-hit games from the leadoff spot.
