Senior shortstop Adam Sandt batted .688 (11-for-16) as Stevens Institute of Technology won its final four Skyline Conference games to clinch the third seed in the upcoming conference tournament. Sandt, who also drive in eight runs and scored eight runs, had at least two hits in each of the Ducks’ four victories. In a sweep of Mount Saint Mary, he went 6-for-8 with a home run and four runs batted in. He then went 5-for-8 with four RBI as Stevens swept a doubleheader from Farmingdale State.
