St. Joseph’s College junior Jennifer Martinez had an impressive week with her arm and her bat last week. Martinez sparked the Golden Eagles to a 7-1 record (6-0 Skyline) by batting .571 (12-for-21) with three doubles, a triple, three home runs and 15 runs batted in. As a pitcher, she was also a perfect 7-0 on the week with a 0.33 earned run average. In 42 innings of work, Martinez allowed just 15 hits and two earned runs while striking out 97 (16.2 per game) and walking just four.
