Manhattanville College junior Amanda Nonis broke out of an early-season slump with a big offensive week last week. Nonis went 8-for-16 (.500) with a double, two home runs, six runs batted in and six runs scored as the Valiants swept doubleheaders from FDU-Florham and St. Joseph’s-L.I. Nonis won both games for Manhattanville in the bottom of the seventh against FDU with a home run in the first game and a double in the second game. She was 3-for-8 with two runs batted in against St. Joseph’s.
