Mount Saint Mary College first-year sophomore pitcher Erin Lappe went 3-2 with a 2.12 earned run average in five appearances last week. Lappe, who struck out 29 batters and gave up just 22 hits in 29.2 innings of work, earned a complete-game victory over New Paltz in which she gave up just one run on four hits. She also pitched back-to-back five-inning no-hitters against Old Westbury, striking out nine in each game.
