St. Joseph’s College junior Anthony Atanasio earns Skyline Pitcher of the Week honors after tossing a two-hit shutout in a 5-0 conference victory over Farmingdale State. Atanasio, who did not allow a hit after the second inning, struck out six and did not walk a batter in earning his first victory of the season. Atanasio also tossed 1.2 scoreless innings in relief with three strikeouts against Messiah in Florida earlier in the week.
