Montclair State University opened its season with a strong 15-6 win over Drew University. Senior attack Brianna Gillin, last year’s Skyline Conference Tournament MVP, picked up where she left off last season by recorded eight points on six goals and two assists. She scored the first three goals of the game to give the Red Hawks the early lead. Gillin, who now has 150 career goals, scored six or more goals in a game for the sixth time in her career.
