In his final home game at Mount Saint Mary College, senior guard Mike Hoyt went out in a big way. Hoyt scored 57 points, including his 2,500th career point as he led the Blue Knights to a 95-77 upset of first-place Stevens. Hoyt, who also had six assists, buried seven 3-pointers and was a perfect 18-for-18 from the free throw line. In two games on the week, he averaged 42.5 points along with 5.5 assists while going 24-for-26 (92.3 percent) from the stripe. The nation’s leading scorer, Hoyt has 868 points this season.
