Vanessa Lawson Award Player of the Week Week Of 1/29/2007 Sport Women's Basketball School Mount Saint Mary Year Position Hometown High School Mount Saint Mary College senior guard Vanessa Lawson averaged 17.0 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.3 assists in helping the Blue Knights to an impressive 3-0 week. Lawson recorded 20 points as the Mount knocked off top-ranked Scranton 69-49. She added 12 points in a 67-57 win over NJAC preseason favorite The College of New Jersey. Lawson’s most complete performance may have come in a Skyline win over Farmingdale in which she had 19 points, six rebounds and six assists.
