Mount Saint Mary College senior guard Mike Hoyt continues to pile up huge numbers in earning his third straight Player of the Week selection. In a 2-1 week for the Blue Knights, Hoyt averaged 41.3 points and 3.7 assists while shooting 57.7 percent from the floor and 50.0 percent from 3-point range. After a 46-point, five-assist performance against Centenary, Hoyt became the first Mount player to score 50 points in a game when he struck for 50 in a win over Maritime. He closed the week with 28 points, three assists and three steals against Merchant Marine.
