Manhattanville College earned two big non-conference victories last week and freshman guard/forward Joe Cooke was a key contributor. Cooke, who shot 60 percent from the floor, came off the bench to score seven points as the Valiants posted an 84-79 win over previously unbeaten Rutgers-Newark. He also added nine points as Manhattanville earned a 67-66 win over ninth-ranked William Paterson.
