United States Merchant Marine Academy freshman center Max Paul continues to make steady contributions in his first season with the Mariners. Paul, who has started six of the nine games, earns Rookie of the Week honors after averaging 5.0 points and 7.0 rebounds in two games at the Washington & Lee Tournament. He shot 55.6 percent from the floor and matched his season-high with eight rebounds against Hood.
