Skyline Conference

Senior captain Laura McDowell went unbeaten on the week as Manhattanville College captured its third straight Skyline Conference Women’s Tennis Championship. McDowell, who was named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player, earned victories of 8-6 in doubles play and 6-0, 6-0 at second singles in the semifinals against Mount Saint Mary. In the championship, McDowell teamed with Danielle Waldron for an 8-3 victory. She then earned a 6-4, 6-1 win at third singles as Manhattanville recorded a 6-3 win on the road against Stevens to retain the Skyline championship.
