Sophomore middle blocker Jessica Gardner averaged 3.00 kills and 0.78 service aces while hitting .364 as Stevens Institute of Technology recorded four victories, including two against regionally-ranked opponents. Gardner hit .409 (12-3-22) with three service aces as the Ducks earned a 3-1 victory over New Jersey City University, the sixth-ranked team in the Mid-Atlantic Region. She then hit .400 (12-2-25) with four blocks as Stevens swept New Paltz, the sixth-ranked team in the New York Region, 3-0.
