Sophomore outside hitter Melanie Volk averaged 3.17 kills and 3.76 digs in a 5-0 week for Stevens Institute of Technology last week. Volk recorded three double-doubles on the week as the Ducks extended their winning streak to seven matches. She hit .571 (4-0-7) in a 3-0 win over Mount Saint Mary. In four matches at the Carnegie Mellon Crossover, Volk recorded 50 kills, 57 digs and four service aces. She hit .356 (18-2-45) with 15 digs in a 3-1 win over host Carnegie Mellon.
