Freshman outside hitter Laura Johnson earns Skyline Conference Rookie of the Week honors after helping Stevens Institute of Technology to a pair of conference victories. Johnson averaged 4.50 kills while hitting .500 in victories over Maritime and Old Westbury. She recorded 11 kills in 14 attempts (.786) against Maritime and seven kills in 16 attempts against Old Westbury.
