First-year sophomore Taylor Pankratz scored his first collegiate goal in the 38th minute to lead the United States Merchant Marine Academy to a 1-0 victory over Rutgers-Camden. Pankratz scored off a corner kick with David Poulnot and Joe Castro assisting as the Mariners turned in a strong performance against a Rutgers-Camden squad that finished second in the New Jersey Athletic Conference last season.
