Farmingdale State University freshman goalkeeper Kimberly Sontag stopped five shots in each of the Rams’ first two games. In the season opener against Maine Maritime, Sontag entered at halftime with Farmingdale trailing 1-0. She played the entire second half and overtime and did not allow a goal as the Rams rallied for a 1-1 tie. Sontag earned her first career start against FDU-Florham the following day and made five saves in the first half.
