United States Merchant Marine Academy junior attack Sean Dougherty poured in 11 goals last week as the Mariners clinched the second seed and a home game in the Knickerbocker Lacrosse Conference Tournament. Dougherty, who leads the conference with 3.80 goals per game, scored four goals in a 12-8 win at Farmingdale State. He registered a game-high seven goals in the Mariners’ 20-5 win over Maritime.
