A week after earning Skyline Conference Rookie of the Week honors, Kings Point freshman Karen Taylor captures Pitcher of the Week honors with a pair of dominating performances last week. In the first game of a doubleheader against Old Westbury, Taylor pitched a two-hit shutout and set a USMMA single-game record with 16 strikeouts. She then allowed just three hits while striking out seven in a win over St. Joseph’s.
