United States Merchant Marine Academy junior catcher Andrea Carey earns Skyline Conference Player of the Week honors after leading the Mariners to a 4-0 week in conference play. Carey batted .600 (9-for-16) with two extra-base hits, four runs scored, five runs batted in and six stolen bases as Kings Point swept doubleheaders from Old Westbury and St. Joseph’s. Carey went 5-for-8 with three RBI against Old Westbury. She was 4-for-7 against St. Joseph’s ace Jennifer Martinez.
