Skyline Conference

Ward captured gold in the 500-yard freestyle at the Skyline Swimming Championships (Jan. 30-31) at Maritime College in a time of 5:11.75…finished second in both the 50-yard freestyle (23.06) and 100-yard freestyle (50.51) events…swam a leg on the MSMC 200-yard medley (1:44.99) and 400-yard freestyle (3:25.33) relays that each placed second overall…the Knights finished second overall in the team standings…tabbed the Skyline Rookie of the Year for his efforts…named the Skyline Rookie of the Week for the second time this season.
