Birkmire placed first in both the 100-yard backstroke (1:05.72) and 200-yard individual medley (2:24.69) events on Oct. 25 as St. Joseph's-L.I. earned wins over Mount Saint Vincent (70-23) and Old Westbury (69-26)…also won the 50-yard backstroke (30.93) and 200-yard freestyle (2:07.88) events on Nov 1 at the Sarah Lawrence Sprint Carnival…added a runner-up finish in the 100-yard butterfly (1:06.62) at SLC.
