Junior guard Andrea Carey averaged 18.7 points and 6.0 rebounds while shooting 50 percent from the floor in a 3-0 week for the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy. Carey recorded a double-double with a career-high 25 points and 10 rebounds as the Mariners earned a 56-47 victory over St. Joseph’s. She also scored 18 against New Rochelle before contributing 13 points against Centenary. Carey, who ranks fourth in the conference in 3-point field goal percentage, shot 53.8 percent from beyond the arc.
