Latona placed first in the 200-yard backstroke in a meet-record time of 1:56.75 on Jan. 30 at the Skyline Championship as Purchase finished third overall…also won the 200-yard freestyle (1:50.26) and earned a second-place finish in the 100-yard butterfly (56.35)…was tabbed the Skyline Rookie of the Year for his performance.
