Maloney placed first in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:06.42 and captured gold in the 200-yard backstroke in a time of 2:24.34 on Feb. 1 at the Skyline Championships…finished fourth in the 200-yard freestyle (2:13.11)…tabbed the 2012-13 Rookie of the Year…earns her third Rookie of the Week citation of the season.
