Bender led St. Joseph’s-L.I. to a pair of wins as she averaged 23.5 points, 10.0 rebounds and 2.5 blocks for her third consecutive Skyline Player of the Week honor…scored 29 points and added seven rebounds and four blocks on Dec. 8 in the Golden Eagles’ 66-50 victory over the College of New Rochelle…scored 18 points and grabbed 13 rebounds in a 64-60 win versus St. Joseph’s-Brooklyn on Dec. 5…knocked down 17-of-30 shots from the field…moved into fourth place in program annals with 1,013 points.
