Skyline Conference

Softball's final Rookie of the Week in the Skyline Conference is the same as it's first, the Mariners' Andrea Carey.  Carey continued to be an integral part of Kings Point's offense from her #5 spot.  She reached base at a .667 clip, as she batted .500 and walked five times.  Carey was 5-7 (.714) with runners on base, and successfully advanced runners in nine of her 10 at-bats (.900).  This week, she slugged .600, drove in five runs, scored eight runs, hit a sac fly, and was a perfect 2-2 in stolen bases.  The Mariners starting shortstop, Carey is the only member of the Blue and Gray to have played in all 36 games, and she leads the team in triples (5), homeruns (3), RBI (31), and slugging (.659).
