Skyline Conference

Jill Cookson of Kings Point was awarded co-Pitcher of the Week for the Skyline Conference.  The team stands tied for the top spot in the Conference at 13-1.  The Mariners' Cookson was 4-0, all Skyline wins, with a 0.65 ERA this week.  She threw 21.2 innings, struck out 26, and allowed batters to hit a mere .159 against her.  Cookson threw three shutouts on the week - one each against Farmingdale State, St. Joseph's, and Mt. St. Vincent.  Her season ERA stands at 1.80 and she is 5-1 in Skyline play with a 1.12 ERA.  The Mariners' were 6-0 on the week, with all victories coming against Skyline foe.
