High School Hampton Bays HS St. Joseph’s College freshman outside hitter April Bennett 3.14 kills while hitting .286 in two matches for the Golden Eagles. Bennett hit .407 with 14 kills and just three errors in 27 attempts in leading St. Joseph’s to a 3-1 win over Farmingdale State. The victory enabled the Golden Eagles to clinch the fourth seed in the Skyline tournament. Bennett also contributed eight kills and three blocks against FDU-Florham.
