High School Hampton Bays HS St. Joseph’s College freshman outside hitter April Bennett averaged 3.44 kills per set while hitting .298 (55-16-131) in five matches for the Golden Eagles last week. Bennett helped St. Joseph’s to three wins in four matches at its own tournament. She hit .433 (15-2-30) against CCNY and also added 15 kills against Lehman and 13 against St. Joseph’s- Brooklyn. She also totaled nine blocks on the week.
