High School Patchogue-Medford HS St. Joseph’s College freshman Katie Soeder was victorious in both singles and doubles play last week. In a Skyline Conference match against Purchase, Soeder teamed with Kathryn Wood for an 8-2 victory at first doubles. With the Golden Eagles missing their No. 1 singles player, Soeder moved up to the top spot and cruised to a 6-0, 6-3 victory. She has not lost a singles match in Skyline play as a freshman.
