High School Suffern HS Purchase College freshman Moriah Ormsby posted a key singles victory as the Panthers defeated St. Joseph’s 5-4 to clinch the third seed in the Skyline Conference tournament. Purchase trailed 3-0 after doubles play and Ormsby also dropped her opening set at second singles. She went on to record a 6-7, 6-4, 6-1 victory at the Panthers won five of the six singles matches. Ormsby is now 8-2 in singles play as a freshman.
