High School Minisink Valley HS Freshman middle blocker Kaylene Pennings hit an impressive .419 (41-10-74) while averaging 3.15 kills and 1.15 blocks during a 3-0 week for Mount Saint Mary College. Pennings opened the week with nine kills in a 3-0 win over Sage. She did not commit an error in a 5-set win over Farmingdale State (16-0-27). Pennings had 16 kills and 10 total blocks as Mount Saint Mary defeated St. Joseph’s 3-2.
