High School Patchogue-Medford HS Farmingdale State College freshman Jessica Josema was the top Skyline Conference rookie at the NJIT Highlander Invitational, recording a time of 21:31 on the 5K Branch Brook Park course in Newark. Josema, 38th out of 125 runners, was the second Farmingdale runner to cross the line, trailing only teammate Mary Orobona. As a team, the Rams placed eighth.
