High School Tottenville HS Farmingdale State College junior Sean Tiernan crushed the competition at the Mount Saint Mary College Knight Invitational. Tiernan won the event, finishing with a time of 28:09 on the 8K Chadwick Lake Park course. He finished 46 seconds ahead of Union’s Gabe Sturges (28:56). The Rams were the top-finishing Skyline Conference team, placing second overall.
