Ashley Maurer Award Runner of the Week Week Of 9/27/2010 Sport Women's Cross Country School Mount Saint Mary Year Freshman Position Hometown Stormville, N.Y. High School Carmel HS Mount Saint Mary College freshman Ashley Maurer became the first runner in program history to win a race, crossing the line first at the Southern Vermont College Invitational. Her time of 22:33 also paced the Knights to their first-ever team victory. Mount Saint Mary took the top two spots with fellow freshman Nicole Zazzero finishing just 2.5 second behind Maurer.
