High School Tottenville HS Farmingdale State College junior Sean Tiernan turned in another strong performance, finishing eighth in a field of 59 runners at the Wesleyan (Conn.) Invitational with a time of 27:46 on the 8K course. It was the second sub-28 minute effort of the season for Tiernan. As a team, Farmingdale State placed fourth out of six teams.
