High School Patchogue-Medford HS St. Joseph’s College freshman Katie Soeder improved to 7-1 in singles play this fall with a pair of wins over Skyline Conference opponents last week. After dropping her opening set at third singles against Julia DeFabo of Bard, Soeder rallied for a 1-6, 6-2, 11-9 victory. She also prevailed at second singles against NYU-Poly. In doubles play, Soeder teamed with Terri Leonard for an 8-1 win at first doubles against NYU-Poly.
