High School Piedmont High School Polytechnic Institute of NYU freshman Connor Doherty was impressive in his collegiate debut last week. Doherty picked up singles and doubles victories against both Purchase and Baruch as the Fighting Blue Jays won both matches to improve to 3-1 (2-0 Skyline). He prevailed 6-1, 6-2 at third singles against Purchase. Against Baruch, he trailed 4-0 in the opening set at third singles before rallying for a 6-4, 6-2 victory.
