High School Colonie High School Freshman middle hitter Ryan Couch averaged 2.33 kills and 1.83 digs while hitting .344 (11-3-32) in two matches for the Sage Colleges last week. Couch hit .471 (8-0-17) and added five digs and two total blocks against Mount Saint Vincent in the semifinals of the Skyline Conference tournament. It marked the first postseason match for the Gators, who are completing their first season of men’s volleyball.
