High School New Hyde Park High School Senior forward Courtney Heesemann had a strong week for the College of Mount Saint Vincent last week, averaging 17.0 points and 10.3 rebounds in three games against strong competition. Heesemann, who shot 71.0 percent (22-for-31) opened the week with 16 points and nine rebounds at Montclair State. At the Cruzin’ Classic in Fort Lauderdale, she had 14 points and nine rebounds against Millikin, and 21 points (9-for-11 shooting) and 13 rebounds in an 89-57 win over Curry.
